On Sunday, January 17th, 2021 – CNN hosted a guest that claimed Internet providers need to clamp down on conservative media, and not allow conservative news personalities to reach so many people. Companies like Verizon, AT&T, and Comcast need to spearhead the silencing of Conservative Influencers.

CNN Chief Media Correspondent and host of the CNN program Reliable Sources, Brian Stelter interviewed two guests; one of whom is Alex Stamos, a computer scientist and adjunct professor at Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation also he is the former chief security officer at Facebook, and Christopher Krebs who served as the first director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

Alex Stamos then likens groups such as the Proud Boys and the Three Percenters to ISIS, and says “Those groups need to be treated like ISIS, effectively,” Stamos says. Later on, Stamos widens the scope of his idea regarding the problem in the United States “We have to turn down the capability of these Conservative influencers to reach these huge audiences.”

“There are people on YouTube for example that have a larger audience than daytime CNN”
